Grape Varieties: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara
Origin: Valgatara, in the traditional Valpolicella Classico region
Special process: Produced with dried grapes.
Ageing: 3 years in oak barrels.
Tasting Notes: Intense ruby-red colour. Ethereal and fragrant bouquet. Complex, well-structured and velvety on the palate.
Food Pairing: Wonderful with lamb. Ideal companion for game, grilled, and braised meats, roasts and full-flavoured mature cheeses.
Note: This Amarone is drinking very well now (Spring 2017) and can be enjoyed immediately, but if cellared, it will get even better and will reach its prime in about 2027-2030.
Serving Temperature: 18°-20° C. It is important to allow an Amarone to reach a comfortable room temperature before serving (i.e. don't serve it at a lower temperature) in order to fully appreciate this wonderful wine at its best.
