Commended 2014 Decanter World Wine Awards

Grape Varieties: 50% Malbec, 30% Syrah, and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.

Origin: San Rafael, 831 m above sea level | Mendoza wine region. Yield is reduced for greater quality.

Aging: First-use French and American oak barrels for 18 months.

Alcohol: 14.6%

Tasting Notes: The colour of this clean, elegant wine is a bright, intense violet-red. The nose presents aromas of ripe berries combined with notes of chocolate and tobacco. Mouth-filling with richness of texture and concentrated flavours, this is a sophisticated, meaty and velvety red wine. The features of all three varietals are perfectly combined to yield great structure, fruitiness, and balanced tannins, ending with a lively and persistent finish.

"Rich black fruits with nice oak integration and a good, solid finish." --2014 DWWA

Serving temperature: 15 to 18C or slightly cooler than room temperature.
