Grape Varieties: 70% Montepulciano / 15% Aglianico / 15% Trebbiano.

Origin: Molise (the second smallest region of Southern Italy, bordering Abruzzo, Lazio, Campania and Puglia).

Apellation: Biferno DOC.

Aging: 18 months in large oak barrels and a further 18 months in stainless steel, to develop more complex, mature and smooth flavours.

Alcohol Content: 13%.

Tasting Notes: Purplish-red colour that will develop to garnet with age. The bouquet is complex and intense with hints of blackberry jam. On the palate, the wine is velvety and harmonious with pleasant, firm tannins.

Food Pairing: This wine pairs well with roast meats, game, pheasant, salami and chorizo, rich pasta dishes, and pizza.

Serving temperature: 16 to 18° C.
