Grape Variety: 100% Nebbiolo.

Origin: Cru Roccalini, in the comune di Barbaresco.

Aging: Matured in medium toasted Slavonian and French oak casks of 1000 and 1500 liters for four years. Then fined in the bottle for 18 months. Laid down in a suitable place, the wine will keep for 25 to 30 years.

Tasting Notes: Garnet-red in color with ruby reflections. An intense bouquet with clean scents of roses, red fruits, licorice, smokiness and spices. On the palate, the wine is elegant but with good body. The full flavour recalls the aromas perceived on the nose and also has appealing hints of tar and wood from the aging. The finish is long and satisfying.

Food Pairing: This complex wine goes well with main courses of red meats, stews, and game. An ideal accompaniment for aged cheeses.

Serving Temperature: 18C
