Grape Varieties: 97% Aragonęs; 3% Viognier.

Origin: Boavista Vineyard, Portalegre district, Alto Alentejo.

Ageing: 10 months in American oak.

Alcohol: 14.5%.

Tasting Notes: Colour: Intense dark red centre. Aroma: Red fruit and spicy vanilla. Palate: Rich tarry and wild strawberry flavours. Smooth and rich tannins. Long, spicy, savoury finish.

Food Pairing: Grilled or roasted red meats such as lamb, beef or pork, sausages, hamburgers, pastas with red sauces, spicy dishes; also great with soft cheeses. Try with feijoada (bean stew) or cassoulet, Gorgonzola, thyme-flavoured dishes, lamb, liver, and bacalhau (salt cod).

Serving Temperature: 16° to 18°C.
