Grape Varieties: Avesso, Arinto, Azal and Loureiro. Avesso and Azal provide sweetness and fruitiness. Arinto is renowned for its finesse and citrus flavors. Loureiro is an aromatic grape, reminiscent of a young Riesling with floral notes. This blend of varieties gives the wine aromas of plums, peaches, bananas, and green apple, as well as minerality.

Origin: Alpendurada, overlooking the Douro River in Amarante (a sub-region of the Vinho Verde wine region).

Ageing: Not aged in oak.

Alcohol: 12.5%.

Tasting Notes: Attractive, citrusy aroma that reveals plum and peach assimilated with tropical and lemongrass notes. In the mouth, it is very smooth and elegant and absolutely delicious, with flavours of pear, apricot and spice, and mineral notes on the long finish.

Food Pairing: This wine is outstanding as an aperitif and also goes well with fish; shellfish such as mussels; octopus; chicken; rich, creamy pasta and risotto dishes; and salads.

Serving Temperature: 7 to 9C (well chilled).
